What kind of game is Huggy Playtime?

Your most important tool is the pack on your back. Two hands extend from it, letting you turn distant levers, plug cables into the right coloured sockets and pull objects you could never reach. Because the left and right hands work separately, some puzzles ask you to hold two different points at once.

As you move through the factory you find old tapes, notes and posters. They explain the story and often hand you the code for the next room. Every solved puzzle opens another corridor, and the map gradually links up. Waiting at the end of the route is Huggy Wuggy, the oversized blue toy.

Why players enjoy it

Turning a set of levers and hearing a machine wake up is satisfying. The rooms are built like riddles, so progress is always visible once you crack one. Swinging objects around with those long hands is fun on its own.

Is Huggy Playtime safe for kids?

The tone is suspenseful rather than frightening. There is no gore and the characters are drawn in a cartoon style. Dark corridors and sudden sounds do appear though, so it suits players aged nine and up more comfortably.
