Light and Dark

Opposite elements, one shared goal. Light and Dark is a maze puzzle platformer where you control black and white slime characters, each vulnerable to its own element.

About Light and Dark

The core rule: the black slime is destroyed by light, the white slime is lost in darkness. That simple split shapes all the puzzle design. Levers to pull, moving platforms to cross, and hazards to dodge — everything requires coordinated movement from both characters.

Three campaigns are available. In the Black Slime Campaign dark areas are safe zones, in the White Slime Campaign lit paths are critical, and in the Co-op Campaign both elements' abilities combine for more complex puzzles.

Hidden areas and secrets add exploration motivation. Each solved level opens the next layer of challenge.

Why kids love it

The element mechanic is intuitive and easy to learn. Co-op mode is perfect for playing together.

Is it safe?

Totally safe. Suitable for all ages.

1. Player 1 (Black Slime): A/D to move, W or Space to jump.
2. Player 2 (White Slime): ←/→ to move, ↑ or Shift to jump.
3. Element rule: Black slime must avoid light; white slime must avoid darkness.
4. Navigate the maze: Activate levers, get past obstacles, and reach the exit.
5. Co-op coordination: Hold one slime still while solving the puzzle with the other.

• Plan ahead: Before entering any door or zone, decide which slime goes first.
• Take turns: Keep one in a safe spot while you explore with the other, then swap roles.
• Hidden passages: Some levels have invisible transitions — probe the walls.
