About Riders Downhill Racing

The courses are steep, the ground is broken up, and the bike wants to fly off every bump. Holding the throttle downhill is easy; landing the wheels cleanly is the hard part. In the air you lean forward or back to set your angle, and touching down at the wrong one wipes out all your momentum.

Three modes wait for you. Racing mode is about beating rivals to the finish, career mode asks you to clear demanding routes before the clock runs out, and free style lets you roam the map, collect diamonds and try stunts. Those diamonds turn into new vehicles and colour options.

The garage goes beyond motorbikes: ATVs, cross bikes and fast boats open up too. The same slope feels completely different on four wheels. With a friend nearby you can race two players on one keyboard, with the screen split in half.

Why kids like it

Flipping, opening the parachute and hitting the nitro are all one key each. Crashing costs nothing since the reset key drops you straight back on the track.

Is it safe?

The riders are drawn in a cartoon style, with no blood and nothing frightening. Falls are brushed off with funny animations.

1. Pick a mode: Enter racing, career or free style, and choose one player or two.
2. Ride: Use W A S D or the arrow keys to accelerate, brake and lean.
3. Balance in the air: Press Q for an extra hop off a ramp and E to open the parachute on hard drops.
