About Openfront
The map selection is remarkable: Britain, Japan, Italy, NYC, Australia, and even fantasy maps (Mars, Pluto, Sierpinski). Difficulty ranges from Easy to Impossible. Three terrain types โ plains (easy spread), plateau, and mountains (costly). Your spawn point shapes your strategy.
As you expand, you'll face three opponent types: bots (weak, can't build), nations (NPC with infrastructure), and players (real competition). The building system runs deep: City adds 25k population cap, Port produces trade ships, Factory generates gold via train networks, Defense Post guards borders, SAM Launcher stops nukes, Missile Silo fires atomic, hydrogen, or MIRV bombs. Buildings level up when stacked. Form alliances, but betrayal earns a 30-second defense debuff.

- Without SAM launchers, don't race a nuclear player โ they'll outpace you fast.
