Snake.io is the multiplayer take on the classic snake game. Eat colorful food to grow, cut off rival snakes to eliminate them, then race to collect the drops they leave behind. Play safe in your browser โ no download needed.
About Snake.io
The idea is familiar but the details matter. Movement is smooth and responsive โ steer with your mouse, keyboard, or a controller. Boost (hold left click or Space) speeds you up but burns the energy stored in your body. Timed right, a boost lets you cut across an enemy's path; misjudged, it just burns fuel.
The bigger you grow, the more dominant you become โ you can wrap your body into a ring and trap smaller snakes inside. A crown icon on the leaderboard marks the biggest snake on the map, a useful target to watch. Complete achievements (high scores, consecutive daily plays) to unlock new skins. Snake.io launched on iOS and Android in April 2016 and came to browsers with WebGL in September 2022.
