Racing Cars is a racing game where you set up your car and race rivals on the same track to the finish line. The goal is to win every race in first place, and it's free in your browser with just the arrow keys to control.
About Racing Cars
Before the race you customize your car to your taste, then take your spot beside the rivals on the start line. Up arrow is gas, down arrow is brake, and the left and right arrows steer. Corners and straights follow each other around the track, and the rivals try to get ahead of you at every chance.
In this game, flooring it doesn't always win. If you enter a sharp corner at high speed, the car slides and rivals pass you. The real skill is braking at the right moment: slowing down just before a corner and getting back on the gas at the exit is the best way to keep the lead you gained on the straight. Watching for rivals' mistakes also gains you places.
Why do kids love this game?
Starting from the back, moving up lap by lap and grabbing first place on the final straight is exciting. With only four keys to control, you feel at home on the track even in your first race.
Is this game safe for kids?
Yes. The game only has cars and a track, and crashes go no further than lost speed, with nobody getting hurt. Races are short, so you can finish a lap without staying at the screen for long.

- Slow down before the corner: braking inside a corner causes a slide, so drop your speed just before the entry.
- Use the inside line: taking the inside of a corner covers less distance at the same speed.
- Overtake on straights: passing a rival on a straight is less risky than in a corner.
- Steer in small movements: holding a key too long turns the car too much, and short taps draw a smoother line.
- Memorize the track: after a race or two, knowing the order of the corners makes it easier to plan your braking ahead.
