๐Ÿ“– Skribbl.io About

Skribbl.io is a multiplayer word game of drawing and guessing in turns. One player draws while everyone else guesses. Free in your browser.

About Skribbl.io

Each round hands one player a word to draw. While they sketch with a simple brush, the others type their guesses into the chat box.

Points depend on speed: the earlier you guess the word, the more you score. The drawer earns based on how many people got it, so an unreadable drawing hurts them too.

As the clock runs down, letters of the word are revealed one by one. If nobody gets it, the round ends and the turn passes to the next player.

Why kids like this game

It doesn't demand drawing talent; bad drawings are the funniest part. You can set up a private room and play with friends.

Is this game safe for kids?

There's an open chat box, so it's worth having someone nearby for younger players. No violence and nothing frightening; it's all drawing and words.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips & Tricks

  • Draw the main shape first: sketch the overall outline before detail and guesses arrive far sooner.
  • No writing: writing the word or letters is against the rules, you must convey it by drawing alone.
  • Count the blanks: when guessing, the word length and revealed letters narrow things down quickly.
  • Guess early: since points follow speed, keep typing near-misses even when you aren't sure.
  • Make a private room: with friends you can set the word list and round timer yourself.

โšก Features

  • Turn-based drawing: one draws each round while the rest guess.
  • Speed-based scoring: guessing earlier is worth more points.
  • Letter hints: letters reveal one by one as time passes.
  • Private rooms: set up a closed room for your friends.
  • Simple drawing tools: colour, brush size and an eraser.
  • Plays on any device with mouse and touch controls.
