Sneaky Friends moves hide and seek into a crowded school building. Your role changes every round, so sometimes you are hiding and sometimes you are the one searching. It runs safely in your browser with nothing to install.

How is Sneaky Friends played?

Roles are handed out at random before the match starts. As a hider you creep along the hallways, slip into classrooms to collect coins and free teammates who ended up in a cage. As the seeker you patrol instead, turning your vision cone toward the right corners and looking for traces of movement.

Whichever side is still standing when the timer runs out takes the round. Winning opens larger maps, and the seekers get noticeably faster.

Why does teamwork matter so much?

Finding a good corner on your own is not enough. A rescue adds a player back to your side, which can flip the balance halfway through a round. On the seeker side, waiting near the cages usually pays off more than sprinting around the corridors.

Why kids like it

Everything runs on a single mouse, so the first round is enough to learn it. Colourful stickman characters and short matches mean losing barely stings, and a new round starts within seconds.

Is it safe?

The chase stays cartoonish from start to finish. No frightening scenes appear and the characters are simple and cheerful. Suitable for ages 7 and up.

1. Join a room: The lobby loads with the page, and the round begins once enough players arrive.
2. Read your role: The centre of the screen tells you whether you hide or seek, so plan from there.
3. Move: Hold and drag the mouse to steer your character, or slide a finger on touch screens.
4. If you hide: Enter classrooms, gather coins and slip behind the lockers when a seeker approaches.
5. If you seek: Cover the corridor entrances, carry anyone you catch to a cage and stay close to it.
6. Finish the round: If the timer empties while you are still free, the hiding side wins.

• Peek first: Check from the edge of a wall before entering a corridor and you will spot the vision cone early.
• Collect on the move: Grab coins while walking; a character standing still is an easy target.
• Guard the cage: As the seeker, do not wander far from anyone you have already caught.
• Change your route: Avoid the same classroom twice in a row, seekers memorise that room fast.
• Time the rescue: Running to a cage before the seeker leaves usually ends in a second capture.
