How does Bullet Bros play?

Hold the button and your character rises into the air, turning slowly. Release it and the weapon fires while the recoil pushes you the opposite way. In other words, the direction you aim is the direction you will not travel. That single rule carries the whole game.

Levels are filled with guards, spikes and tight passages. Clearing them means finding the right angle at the right moment. Sometimes one shot both hits a target and launches you onto the far platform, which is easily the most satisfying moment here.

New weapons and outfits unlock as you go. Each weapon has its own recoil strength, so the feel of movement changes with it. Some fling you a long way, others suit fine adjustments better.

Why kids like it

It plays with one button but takes time to master. Levels are short and a mistake puts you back in a couple of seconds. The way the characters tumble is exaggerated and funny.

Is it safe?

The art is clean and cartoon styled. Characters flop about like rag dolls, with no blood and nothing unsettling. Even so, it fits older kids better.
