About Galactic Driver

The controls are simple: the left and right arrow keys steer the car, and the up arrow or space bar makes it jump. Parts of the track are cut off, and obstacles pop up in other spots. If you do not jump at the right moment, the car falls into the gap and you restart the level.

As levels go on, difficulty rises two ways: the gaps get wider and the pace speeds up. This is where the garage comes in. With the money you earn you can buy new vehicles or upgrade your current one. A stronger car makes some jumps easier, but timing is still up to you, and no upgrade saves a jump pressed too early.

Why do kids love this game?

Driving among planets and stars is something that cannot happen in real life. A kid who finally beats a level they were stuck on also gets the joy of buying a new vehicle with their earnings right away.

Is this game safe for kids?

The only danger in the game is falling off the edge of the track, and the result is just the level restarting. There are no enemies or weapons, and the car is put back on the track on every try.

1. Pick a level and start the race.
2. Steer the car with the ← and → arrow keys.
3. Jump with ↑ or Space as you near a gap or obstacle.
4. On a phone or tablet, use the on-screen control buttons.
5. Reach the finish line without falling off the track.
6. Buy a new vehicle or upgrade yours in the garage with the money you earn.
7. Try to clear all 30 levels.

• Jump late: jumping right at the edge of a gap carries you farther than pressing too early.
• Correct in the air: while jumping, adjust your direction with small taps to land in the middle of the track.
• Visit the garage when stuck: if you have been stuck on a level for a while, upgrade your car and try again.
• Steer gently: instead of holding an arrow key down, short taps keep the car balanced.
• Learn the level: each attempt teaches you a little more about where the next gap is.
