Wave Rider

Wave Rider is a 3D arcade game where you keep up your speed and durability on an endless obstacle course stretching across the ocean, starting from rushing waters on a surfboard.

How to play Wave Rider

The surfboard moves fluidly on the surface; you steer left and right while occasionally catching short air off small ramps to clear obstacles above. Underwater plants, sudden barriers, lotus bushes, and powerful currents line up ahead — each one demanding a different reaction.

Collecting pearls scattered along the way by taking risks boosts your score multiplier. Hidden keys offer bonus rewards. There's a durability system; small collisions accumulate and when durability hits zero the run ends.

What makes it feel fresh?

Movement on water feels different from running on land — the waves have their own rhythm and every surfing attempt shapes up a bit differently. Short airtime is visually satisfying and adds a vertical dimension to the controls.

Is it safe?

Completely safe. Suitable for ages 7 and up.

1. Use Left / Right arrow keys or A/D to steer the surfboard sideways.
2. Press Space or Up arrow to catch air off ramps and jump over obstacles.
3. Stay clear of underwater plants, barriers, and lotus bushes.
4. Collect pearls and hidden keys while keeping your collision count low.
5. The run ends when durability hits zero.

• Small hits add up: even light grazes reduce durability — give everything a wide berth.
• Time your ramp approach: lining up with the ramp early gives you a clean air.
• Plan the pearl route: diverting to grab a pearl can mean extra collision risk — is it worth it?
• Watch the currents: strong water currents push you off course; riding with the current is safer.
