Diep.io starts you off as a simple tank with one cannon and grows from there. Shoot the triangles, squares, and pentagons scattered across the map to gain XP and level up — but other players are doing the same, and eventually your paths will cross. Play safely in your browser, no download needed.

About Diep.io

Each level gives you one skill point to invest across eight stats: health regen, max health, body damage, bullet speed, bullet penetration, bullet damage, reload, movement speed. Every 15 levels you pick a new tank class — Twin, Sniper, Machine Gun, Flank Guard, and many more. Building toward a specific style is where the real depth lives.

Modes range from free-for-all to team battles, maze, sandbox, and domination. Dozens of players share the same arena at once.

Why kids love Diep.io

The basics take 30 seconds to learn, but the build decisions keep players thinking for hours. After every death the urge to try a different build kicks in. The minimal 2D visuals are clean and sharp.

Is it safe for kids?

Purely abstract shapes — no blood, no horror, no realistic violence. No chat system. Suitable for ages 7+.

1. Move: W A S D or arrow keys
2. Aim: move the mouse
3. Shoot: left mouse button
4. When you level up, choose an upgrade from the stat panel on the lower left.
5. Every 15 levels, pick a new tank class from the menu that appears.

• Spend the first 5 minutes hunting shapes — avoid player fights early on.
• The bullet damage + penetration combo is strong against aggressive players.
• For survival, health regen + max health are essential.
• Don't skip the class choice at level 15 — Sniper for range, Twin for close quarters.
• The Pentagon Nest gives fast XP from big pentagons but it's risky.
