About Flash Flight Simulator

Free Flight Mode offers a relaxed exploration of the open sky, with physics calculations handling lift, drag, and momentum. Smooth and fluid flight requires working with the physics rather than against them.

Missile Defense Mode is an adrenaline-filled survival test. Heat-seeking missiles lock onto your aircraft; you need to break their lock by launching flares or pulling sharp evasive maneuvers. Staying airborne until time runs out is the only goal.

Both modes feature multiple aircraft types. Each plane comes with its own sensitivity and handling characteristics — finding your favorite is part of the strategy.

1. Thrust: Press ↑ to accelerate.
2. Flip: Press ↓ to flip the aircraft.
3. Climb: Press ← to tilt the nose up.
4. Dive: Press → to tilt the nose down.
5. Launch flares: Press Space to fire flares and break missile lock.

• Manage momentum: In free flight, make speed and direction changes gradually — sudden moves lead to loss of control.
• Early flares: Launching flares as soon as a missile is incoming is more effective than waiting until the last second.
• Sharp spiral: A steep spiral maneuver helps scatter your heat signature and break missile tracking.
