Steel Legion

Steel Legion is a physics-based 2D tank game where you battle rival tanks across rugged hills. You start with a simple Cobra tank and unlock increasingly powerful models — Joker, Titan, Barracuda, and Mammoth — as you progress.

How does Steel Legion work?

The core loop is simple but has real depth: fire at the right angle, drain the enemy tank's HP, collect falling coins and power-ups. Armor, cannon, and engine upgrades prepare you for tougher enemies. No coins means no upgrades; no upgrades means falling behind in later stages.

Map variety keeps things fresh: Midsummer Siege, Winter War, Desert Assault, and Jungle Patrol each offer different terrain and enemy behavior. Every stage ends with a Legion battle — beat it to move to the next map.

What makes it compelling?

The terrain physics are well crafted. Using slope momentum or holding the high ground directly affects your firing angle. Positioning is as much a strategy as shooting. A small loop that's genuinely satisfying.

Safe to play?

Tank combat but designed with cartoon visuals — no realistic violence. Suitable for ages 8 and up.

1. Use A / D or the Left / Right arrow keys to move the tank.
2. Press Space to fire — angle and timing determine the hit.
3. Press B to repair your damaged tank (costs coins).
4. Collect coins and power-ups after destroying an enemy tank.
5. Spend coins on armor, cannon, and engine upgrades.
6. Beat the Legion battle at the end of each stage to advance to the next map.

• Claim the high ground: climbing to higher terrain improves your firing angle and makes you harder to target.
• Upgrade armor first: staying alive in long stages matters more than raw firepower early on.
• Time repairs carefully: repair during enemy reload windows — fixing under fire wastes coins.
• Use momentum: your speed increases going downhill — use those moments to dodge incoming shots.
