About Ants Clear All

Tap a box in the front row and an ant team marches out of it. The team automatically gathers every reachable block that matches its own colour.

Here's the catch: you can only have so many teams out at once. A slot stays occupied until that team finishes its job. So the order you send colours in decides the whole level.

As the top blocks leave, the colours beneath them come into view and slots free up. The pixel-art boards unpick layer by layer until the last block is gone.

2. An ant team marches out and gets to work.
3. The team collects blocks of its own colour.
4. On a computer, keys 1-5 pick a column.
5. Clear exposed blocks to reveal new colours.
6. Send a new team as slots free up.
7. The level ends when the last block goes.

• Count your slots: with no free slot you can't move at all, so check how many remain before each send.
• Send short jobs first: a team with few blocks to collect frees its slot quickly and keeps you moving.
• Think below: lifting a block reveals the colour under it, so have a team ready for that colour.
• Don't pile on one colour: giving every slot to the same colour locks up the rest of the board.
• Watch the front row: only front-row boxes can be sent, so ignore the back row when planning.

• Self-running ants: once sent, the collecting happens on its own.
• Limited slots: only so many teams can work at the same time.
• Layered board: removing top blocks reveals the colours below.
