๐ Aqua Bits About
You are a tiny dot at the bottom of the ocean. Aqua Bits is an underwater survival game about eating smaller creatures to grow while dodging the bigger ones. Open the page and the game loads in your browser.
What kind of game is Aqua Bits?
At the start almost everything is bigger than you, so the first minutes are all about care: you hoover up plankton-sized snacks and push your body up a few sizes. As you grow, the menu changes, and the fish you were fleeing a moment ago becomes your prey. The real fun begins the second the food chain flips.
The danger never stops. Deeper water holds larger hunters, and getting cornered in a narrow passage can end the run. You steer with mouse movement or a finger, with no key layout to memorise. It takes a minute to learn and far longer to be good at.
Colourful underwater scenery and soft animation set an easy, watchable pace. Runs are short, and a new one starts the moment you get caught.
Why kids like it
The sense of growth is unmistakable. Becoming the biggest thing on screen after a few minutes feels like a real reward. Since one finger is enough to steer, younger players keep up easily.
Is it safe?
The art style is cartoonish and nothing unsettling appears. Suitable for all ages.

๐ฏ How to Play
- Steer: Move the mouse or drag a finger across the screen; your creature follows the cursor.
- Eat what is smaller: Anything below your size can be eaten and adds to your body.
- Flee what is bigger: When a larger creature closes in, open up distance, because a collision ends the run.
- Watch the size bar: The on-screen meter shows how close you are to the next size step.
- Go deeper: Once you are big enough, drop to the lower layers where food is more plentiful.

๐ก Tips & Tricks
- Stay off the edges: Along a wall you have fewer escape directions, so open water is safer.
- Target the shoals: Small creatures swimming in groups are the fastest source of growth.
- Compare sizes: Before approaching anything you are unsure about, measure its body against your own.
- Do not rush: Diving deep too early ends most runs; grow a few sizes near the surface first.
- Turn while fleeing: Sudden direction changes shake off big hunters better than swimming straight.
โก Features
- Eat and grow: Every bite pushes your body one step up.
- Shifting food chain: Prey and predator swap places as your size changes.
- Underwater layers: Distinct zones running from the surface to the deep.
- One-finger control: Mouse or touch, with no keys to memorise.
- Short runs: A new attempt begins seconds after you are caught.
