More land, more power. Paper IO is a popular multiplayer .io game where you steer your cube across a shared map, drawing loops to claim as much territory as possible while trying to take out your rivals.

About Paper IO

The logic is simple: your cube leaves a trail as it moves. Complete a loop and return to your base, and the enclosed area becomes your territory. The bigger the loop, the more land you grab.

But watch out — if an opponent touches your trail while you're outside your base, you're eliminated. The same goes for you: cut through an opponent's trail to knock them out. This two-sided rule means you have to think about both expansion and defence at all times.

Is it safe?

Completely safe. Suitable for all ages.

1. Move: Use WASD or arrow keys to steer your cube.
2. Draw a loop: Leave your base and trace a loop around unclaimed land.
3. Close it: Return to your base to complete the loop — that land is now yours.
4. Cut rivals: Touch an opponent's trail to eliminate them.
5. Protect your trail: Don't touch your own trail while outside your base or you'll be eliminated.

• Hunt exposed trails: An opponent far from their base leaves a long, vulnerable trail — an easy target.
