๐ Penalty Kick About
You are alone on the penalty spot, the crowd has gone quiet and the keeper is waiting for your first move. Penalty Kick is a football game built entirely around that moment. You choose a national team and take turns shooting and saving through a whole tournament.
What is Penalty Kick?
Every match has two halves. When it is your turn to shoot, you drag with the mouse to pick the corner and the ball leaves the moment you release. In goal the job flips: you click one side of the net before the opponent strikes and your keeper dives that way. A correct read is a save, a wrong one is a goal.
The closer you aim to the post, the higher the risk of missing the target, but the better your chance of beating the keeper. Every kick is a choice between the safe middle and the corner. As the tournament goes on, keepers read the direction earlier, so staying calm through a shootout is what separates rounds. Matches are short and a full tie takes a few minutes.
Why kids like it
The rules are familiar to anyone who knows football, so there is nothing to learn. Pulling off a save or burying the last penalty feels great straight away. Choosing a country adds a small tournament buzz on top.
Is it safe for kids?
Yes. There is a pitch, a ball and two players; nothing rough or frightening appears. Ages 6 and up can play comfortably, since the controls come down to a single movement.

๐ก Tips & Tricks
- Go wide but not too wide: Shots hugging the post drift off target, so stay a few centimetres inside.
- Never repeat a corner: The keeper behaves as if it remembers your last kick, so change your side.
- Commit early in goal: Clicking after the opponent has struck is usually a fraction too late.
- Measure the power: A long drag is fast but loose, while medium power finds the corner far more often.
- Keep it simple under pressure: On the decisive kick, choose the corner you trust rather than a risk.
